This one is special, though. It used to belong to one of my drinking buddies, one of my best buddies actually, who died earlier this year. Now this gnome is living in my pocket. I will take him home with me.

Utan tvekan är det här en mycket viktig tomte. Jag är glad över att han får vara med för att påminna oss också om det allvar och elände som ibland lurar bakom det mer glittriga julfirandet - men också som en påminnelse om sann vänskap!

Without doubt this is a very important gnome. I'm happy he is here among us, as a reminder of all the gravity and misery that sometimes lurkes behind the more glittery Christmas partying - but also as a reminder of true friendship!
