For obvious reasons this is my favourite too... No, I did not pose, which was probably for the best - Renés imaginery lakealike is in this case much more beautiful than the real one! ;-)
Oh dear noah,
I never had designs on painting or creating a portrait of somebody "real" living, not in physiognomic nor in nude appearance. The balloon-serie is an outstanding attempt of vision to get rid of terrestrial & temporate weight by means of art.
(unfortunately I´m no astronaut who went through weigtlessness, just simple Austro-naut).
Which beholder may say that my "red balloon" - see my blog - has something to do with soccer - it will be published these days illustrating a soccer-drama, see: http://www.burgenland.at/aktuell/806
my dedication to Annika is a poor tribute for somebody I met by cyberway I think feeling in similar spheres. - her statement above is a little bit exaggerated, art can´t beat reality. (but I don´t deny there is a lakealike-muse...)
