From a scientific point of view I think the sun would manage quite nicely without the earth, whereas the earth would be a very dark and cold place without the sun. A star, just like grace or unconditional love, tends to "shine" since it is the only thing it CAN do, and then implode, explode or faint. Tell me, dear Mr Desor, has the sun appeared too bright or too dim to You lately?
I never claimed to be the sun, and neither did (I think) Hafiz. Quite the opposite. Personally I was refering to the blessings I've experienced (of which You have been an important part, among other good friends, nature, art, beauty etc) through difficult periods in my life. I am being cared for, without always deserving it. After all this time. Are You? ys,A
