My grandmother has a kit full of old pins and buttons and all sorts of "really necessary things" - the kind of stuff that You just might need one day but probably never will... I used to play with this kit when I was little and most of these small necessities have served a purpose I'm familiar with, but there is one thing that still makes me confused. Anyone can tell it's needle, but the needle is too coarse to be a regular pin, and when looking closely You can see there's a tiny bird of glass sitting on it....

Kan int va en hårnål?
Njaeee... är nog för vass för det, och snäppet för kort, tror jag... själva nålen är bara 4 cm.
Själv skulle jag inte våga sätta den i hårknuten.
