ohhhh...I love the pictures. I am such a boy...I know. But I love fires. There is the scientist in me amazed at the processes and then there is the boy in me that loves the flame...the warmth, the sounds on a snow filled night, the smell, the stories around the flame, the shadows in the trees...ahhh memories. Thank you...pc
Oh, one does not have to be a boy to appreciate those kinds of experiences! Or to appreciate a nice little bonfire and the warmth it offers a couple of freezing hands or cheeks... Besides it's beautiful to watch too. Yes, it is. :-)
Fire is fire. I'm a waterbeing and fire might bring me to the boil or make me vaporize into thin air... in other words: small ones are probably the best. ;-)
